We told my Inlaws finally!!

My hubby and I live in Florida and all of our friends and family are back home in Vancouver, Canada, so its been tough to tell everyone the way we would have wanted to.

We finally got his parents on skype and were talking about Christmas plans for 10 minutes or so when DH says, "well, I just ask that you have some sparkling apple cider for my wife because we are pregnant", just very nonchalantly. 

His Mom flipped out!! She started bawling her eyes out and screaming "I'm going to be a Grandma!!" over and over again. It was such a wonderful moment. She then proceeded to show us all of the clothes she has been collecting for our unborn children since we started dating 8 years ago. lol :)

I just wanted to share this happy moment. <3

    Thank you so much. :) We are definitely blessed to have such amazing family on both sides. I am just feeling on top of the world right now. And I finally feel human for the first time in weeks so Im going to yoga today! Ive missed it so much!

    Ladies,

     Thank you so so so much for all of your kind words. You really made my day. <3

    This time in our lives is so amazing and having all of my loved ones so far away has been a challenge. The support of this community board really has helped a lot.

    How fun!!  That's so cute that she has been collecting stuff for so long!  We are in a similar boat to you (we live in Colorado and our families are scattered between Texas, California, and Pennsylvania - not quite as far, but long distance none-the-less).  We are going down to Texas tomorrow to tell my husband's family and my family is flying in the following weekend (for Thanksgiving), so we will tell them then - I can't wait!!
