Just got back from ER :(

I miscarried. I started brown spotting that turned into a light bleed and went to ER and they found nothing in my uterus. My hcg was 66.

I don't know what to expect now...as with my first miscarriage I was far along and had to have a D&C. Will I bleed bad? Does it hurt?

I knew this was going to happen becuase of my low levels and tried to brace myself, but still ended up crying at the hospital. And do you think ANYONE said sorry for your loss or show any compassion....NO.He said he thinks the baby did not even form. Yeah, thanks buddy.

I'm so sorry... ?really sorry that they were not compassionate at the hospital. ?it sounds like you must have been pretty early so I think you will start bleeding fairly soon and it will most likely feel like a period with period like cramps. ?I suggest getting a heating pad if you don't already have one. ?It really helped me.

I am so sorry hon. This whole experience must be very difficult for you. Take care of yourself. Do what you need to do and feel what you need to feel. Please don't let their lack of compassion diminish your need for comfort right now. That was not fair for them to neglect you like that.

I am so sorry for your loss. My first pregnancy ended the same way. I bled for about 8 days. It wasn't that bad. The first two days were crampy and the rest like a normal period. My doctor told me that the fetus had not even formed yet, I was comforted a little by this, but it didn't help with the fact that I was dying to be pregnant and I wasn't anymore. Again, I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry for your loss.

The amount you'll bleed depends on how far along you were; you will probably have some cramping, too, but it doesn't hurt too bad (at least mine didn't) - in comparison, the cramping after the D&C hurts much more.

I am so so sorry this happened. The hospitals are the worst when it comes to handling miscarriage or loss. Hopefully you won't have much pain. I remember having heavy bleeding for about 3 days and menstrual like craps for at least 2 days. I hope you feel better soon and agian I am so sorry for your loss.
