browser habits

i pretty much always have my browser tabs in the same order and if they get out of order, i close and re-order them. am i crazy OCD or do others do this?

and for the record the first two tabs have to be gmail then work email - that order or it drives me crazy!

Mine always have to be in order too, so I'd say you're not crazy, or that we're both crazy. I'm not really sure which would apply.

Mine don't have to be in any real order, but in Chrome you can rearrange tabs without closing them. Just drag and drop them into the order you want. I think you can in Firefox, too.

Chrome rules for so many reasons.

I have dual monitors. On my left monitor it's work 100% of the time and Chrome is open first with my work email which is gmail. Then the next two tabs are two sessions of our database system. On the right monitor is where I use to nest and stay distracted. I use FF for fun. Don't ask me why but only fun goes on in the FF browser and business in the Chrome. My fun browsing does not have to be in any certain order.

Same order. I'm also a fan of the drag and drop in Chrome.

What makes me crazy is that the apps at the bottom of my screen have to be in order as well. I need Outlook first, followed by two folders, one of which will change based on what I'm working on, and then internet followed by Microsoft progs. I will close and open things to get them in order.

And I use IE for work things and Chrome for fun things. I use FF and Chrome at home.

My H and I are both OCD and we make fun of each other. That's a whole other ball of wax, though.

Same order every day. This applies to tabs and programs in the task bar.

I figured I was just crazy. Mine always has to go Hotmail, Facebook, Reader, Gmail, and then whatever else. I love that I can drag things in Chrome!

Mine must be in order. Every day. Same order.

At the bottom at work I do work email, work spreadsheet, then interwebs.

In the browser I do gmail, fb, bump.

My house is a disorganized wreck most days though, so I guess it's not surprising that my tabs are, too.

gmail always first. the nest. then facebook. then my other stuff i'm looking at.

Mine too! Though I use FF and use the drag as well. And, take it a step further, and always "save and exit" my tabs so they will always re-open in the same order.
