Sometimes I just feel so exhausted. I feel like I have a good little girl, but the past 1 and a half weeks, I feel like if she isn't sleeping or nursing, she is fussing. I get about 1-2 hours MAX total of awake time a day where she is content and happy... otherwise it is trying to soothe her, nurse her, or trying to put her down for a nap. Which can take a LONG ASS TIME.
Is this the norm? Just trying to get a feel....
Re: What is normal behavior for a 6 week old?
I think each baby is so different - its hard to compare. Avery throws temper-tantrums (yes this is possible at 5 weeks old) in the evenings when she's tired but the other 20 hours of the day, she's either sleeping or content.
I hope it gets better for you.
Maybe try a change of scenery? go outside w/ Maya when she's fussy, put her in the car and run an errand? Avery gets cabin fever when we don't leave the house and after we go somewhere she's a new baby
I went through the same thing with Allison. I think it depends on the baby because I didn't go through it with Joey.
I know it's hard, but it does get better. Hang in there.
