Super smell is not the super power you want

I didn't get the pregnancy super smell with Owen because my sinuses were so bad, but gosh I have it with this one. My leather car seats made me nauseous last week when I got in my car and my car is 3 years old. Add in all the extra MS this time and the smell thing is just annoying. Couldn't pregnant women get a different super power that would actually come in handy? It only seems fair.

    Amen!  I used nail polish remover yesterday and almost couldn't take the smell long enough to get it all off.  Also every time I open a Sharpie at work it makes me sick.  This one takes the cake though- yesterday they served the kids at my preschool "cheesy tuna casserole" for lunch.  It smelled absolutely horrible.  The kids thought it stunk too.  That was the first time they served that and hopefully the last.  How many preschoolers do you know that eat tuna?  Stupid.

    Yeah, I could really live w/o the super human sense of smell. EVERYTHING sets me off. I can't go to the grocery store b/c the combination of all the smells together makes me violently ill. I thought I had bad m/s with Colin but that was NOTHING compared to this time. I need this to pass quickly!

    I agree...really sucks when your m/s is bad! Especially when you go into the restroom after a coworker has stunk it up in there! GAG!  Tongue Tied

    I. Completely. Agree.  Yecchhh!!!  Luckily mine seems to have abated for now (but I've learned not to brag too much, because the baby hears it and then makes me pay...seriously...) but it was AWFUL up until last week or so.  And even now at night when we watch TV I have to turn my head when there are commercials with raw meat or some weird meal advertised; something about seeing food after I'm done with dinner just makes my stomach roll!  Sigh...
