Gross pregnancy craving article

TMI warning--this article makes my skin crawl, and I'm pretty thick-skinned to gore. I just thought it was bizarre, so I wanted to discuss it and see if others agreed.

I saw this article earlier and it makes my skin crawl! I really hope if I have any cravings they stay mainstream, haha. I have a hard time eating meat if I think about what I'm eating to begin with, so this is completely unappealing to me!  *Added* I get slightly nervous about not washing my lettuce well enough, so the thought of taking road kill and marinating it in olive oil for a couple days sounds risky to me. All I can think about is how much any anaerobic bacteria present would just be in heaven. I don't think I could allow myself to give in to that kind of craving.

Sorry, I'm not very bump-techno savvy, so I don't know how to make it clicky Sad

Edited to change title and make sure it gave fair warning. Sorry to those who read it before without warning.

Re: Gross pregnancy craving article

  • I think this post title needs a tmi warning. I can handle anything pregnancy related, but this makes me seriously sick to my stomach...blech

Well, I still feel bad. I didn't mean to make anyone sick, so I do apologize for not giving enough fair warning originally.

When I saw the article teaser on MSN I had to read it. I thought she would be craving it, but I didn't think there was any way she would be giving in!

And I have to ask-- what does the "ooops" between your tickers mean?

  • Oh that is crazy! I know people like more "gamey" meat, but have your husband go hunt animals or something, don't pick it up off the road! Roadkill tends to be covered in bugs...oh how delicious.. eww!

Although, living in Wisconsin I have heard of people taking a deer and having it processed after they hit it. I guess this is a little more ok since it hasn't been sitting there for who knows how long.
