I know that I have seen posted before but it was ages ago...so sorry for the repeat.
We used to shampoo DD's hair with the J&J extra conditioning shampoo for curly hair but after the whole chemical nastiness that J&J included in the ingredients we chose to toss the shampoo. So, now what in the world do we use? Any suggestions? Her hair isn't super thick (more like med) but it's all tight ringlets. We do not brush her hair at all to avoid frizz. Neither myself or DH have curly hair so we're kind of doing this blind. Thanks for the help!

We use the It's a Curl baby care products at https://www.curls.biz/curly-hair-products/baby-curly-hair-products.html. I love them! They are expensive, but a little goes a long way. We only use their conditioners. For shampoo/body wash, we use the Johnson's naturals, which don't contain Dioxane, etc.
We use one of the following, whichever is available at whatever store we're doing our shopping: Burt's Bees Baby Bee Shampoo & Wash, Earth's Best Organic Shampoo and Body Wash Lavender, or California Baby Calming Shampoo & Body Wash.
We don't brush DS's hair; we just towel-dry it. His hair is not thick at all and rarely frizzes. Mommy is jealous.
we use Aveeno baby wash once a week, followed by a lot of leave in conditioner (kids version found at Walmart with the 'ethnic' products). while it's sopping with conditioner, i comb the hair from the ends up to detangle and then i LEAVE IT ALONE. throughout the week i may re-wet with water and sometimes with water with some conditioner in the water (spray bottles) and scrunch. never comb/brush dry.
