When did you schedule your csection?

At which week did your OB let you pick a date for your csection if it was planned? Also, how many weeks gestation were you?

Because of my history and the reason why I wanted the specific date, mine was scheduled at 19w. Normally my OB doesn't schedule it until 36w. I was 38w1d when Lucas was born for medical reasons.

I got my date @ 28 weeks. I am having a repeat section with DD #2. She will be born on 1/11/12 Big Smile

We scheduled my c-section at my 16 week check-up. They like to schedule them early so they can coordinate with the hospital.

My c-section is April 10th at 39 weeks. They do the c-section 1 week before your due date in hopes of not going into labor.

I think I was about 20 weeks when we scheduled my RCS. I will be 39 weeks 1 day when I have my c-section, unless I go into labor sometime in the next 2-3 weeks.

We scheduled at 36 weeks. The practice delivered babies via scheduled c-section at 39 weeks or later.

I think my OB practice will put you on the calendar as early as 28 weeks, but I didn't schedule mine until a few weeks later because I had just moved to the area and I wanted to meet some of the doctors first. Mine is scheduled for 39w2d. They schedule routine repeat c-sections for after 39 weeks.

My dr. wont schedule mine until I am 36 weeks, then I will be exactly 39 weeks. Only 4 weeks from tomorrow and baby girl will be here!!!

Mine was just officially scheduled today, so about 33 weeks, even though we pretty much set the date as soon as we determined the due date back at my first appointment. It's scheduled for 39 weeks.

I scheduled my c-section with DD when I was 38 weeks to take place when I hit 39 weeks. DD had other plans, and she ended up being born 11 days early via c-section.

It kept changing!! I had no choice since I already had a past cesarean and had gestational diabetes with insulin dependance for the second. I think we scheduled it @ 35w, provided I didn't go in labor before that (hx of preterm labor).

I think we only booked it at that time bc my OB knew he had just booked vacation.

Then I had low amniotic fluid week after week and they kept threatening to do it right then and then time after time... was really frustrating. Then they kept sending me home. Tongue Tied
