Ovarian Cysts

Just trying to get an idea of what other mom's (mom-to-be's) are experiencing...

 

I recently went in for an Ultrasound and the doctor found a large cyst on my right ovary.  In the past 2-3 months, I have discontinued using BC and have noticed a pretty significant increase in pain as well as a missed period.  My husband and I are 'not trying' but 'not preventing.'  

 

I'm just curious... has anyone ever had something similar?  If so, did you find any difficulties in becoming pregnant?  Some insight would be great! :)

    I am not pregnant yet but am ttc and have dealt with ovarian cysts since I was 15 Confused When I was 16 I had one removed from my ovary that was the size of a cantoloupe! No exageration either the dr. insisted for a month that I was 4 months pregnant before they ordered the tests! Turns out it was big enough that it squashed my apendix so they removed that at least I won't have to worry about that down the road :)  But any how one of my main concerns was having trouble ttc but my ob/gyn expressed that cysts are a very common thing and they come and go all the time (I have felt them burst so not fun). So I woulnd't worry about it too much and good luck! Big Smile
