What do you use for Antivirus?

Do you buy or use free? What is best? Our Norton Internet Security just ran out and I have a 69 day trial of plain ol' Norton (antivirus/spyware) on it now. Just looking for recommendations on what to use next!

    I use Vipre. After dealing with a nasty virus that McAfee picked up on, I got the recommendation from the techs who fixed my computer. They said they researched and worked with the program for a few months before deciding to endorse it at their store. It is an antivirus/spyware program. Much cheaper than the others, and you can go directly to the website to get it.

    I always use Norton.  I think it's a comfort thing, I should probably check out other programs when it expires.

    Avast antivirus works really well. It's a free program and on more than one occasion has found viruses that Norton was not able to find.
