Eff! I've got Pre-E

Just got the call from my midwife... After a 24 hour urine collection, the protein in my urine is like in the 300s. I've been told to go to L&D here shortly for a non-stress and if it doesn't go well, I'll be having a baby today. I was soooo not ready to hear this.

    Good luck!   I have been dealing with Pre-e and trips to L&D for 7 weeks..  Hope everything goes smoothly for you..

    I'm sorry about the Pre-E diagnosis. Definitely saying a pray that tonight goes well and you can keep an inside baby a little while longer...and if not, a quick and easy delivery!

    Oh no!!  At least you are going and getting the care you need.  Hang in there.  You'll have an outside baby soon!!!  Good luck and keep us posted.

    :( Sorry.

    I got diagnosed right at the end of my last pregnancy.  My doctor told me to go to L&D to be induced on the spot.  No further testing at all.  I was in no way favorable for induction but, the baby needed to come out so, we went for it.  It was a long process but ultimately successful and we gave birth to our perfect and completely healthy little boy.

    Sometimes these things don't go the way we want but, still end up going very well :)  Good luck to you.

    I'm home now... I'm asymptomatic, really and baby is doing well. They gave me the option to have him tonight, but warned me that he could have issues because the lungs aren't fully mature until 39 weeks. I opted to stay pregnant and go on bed rest. I have to go back Saturday for another check, though.
