I still don't have the answer, but after looking over the recipe, decided to give it a try yesterday.

DH L.O.V.E.D. it. He raved about how good it was! I appreciated the change.

I've made the butter chicken several times and only in the crockpot. I just dice it and mix it wity the spices the night before and then cook for a few hours the next day. Add the cream and cilantro right before serving. Oh, and I mix it with the butter, onion, and tomato sauce / diced tomatoes in the crockpot. Sorry for any typos; am on my phone.
