2nd timers - successful natural story with breech situation?

Let me preface by saying I'm only about halfway through this journey, so I'm aware there is lots of time for things to flip around and not be breech when the time comes. But - it got me wondering - have any of you had successful med-free experiences starting out with 'breechness?'

Were attempts at getting the baby to turn successful?

Thanks!

  • It's way too early to worry about this.  Babies #2 and #3 for me were breech well into the mid-30 week range.  I had luck getting #3 to turn with an inversion table.

  • I agree it's way too early to worry. My DD was breach until 39 weeks and then I went into labor 3 days later. I did everything under the sun to get her to turn so I have no idea if there was one specific thing I did that really helped or if it was the combo of things or she may have turned regardless of what I did. Among the things I tried were the exercises on spinningbabies.com, Webster technique, acupuncture, moxibustion, swimming, placing an ice pack on baby's head and hot pack on place where I wanted baby's to be, visualization, and prayer.

  • You have lots of time for baby to turn DS was flipping all over even the last week.  I'm not sure how hard it would be to go med free with breech it's usually hard enough to do a vaginal delivery.  The girl next door to me had a breech delivery about 18 months ago she used the epi just in case something went wrong so she wouldn't have to be gassed her only problem was tearing but she was happy to not feel the stiching up part.
