So I've got this very large glass jar (probably 2 feet tall?) It's got a tiny bit of a sea glass tint to it, which I don't love and which doesn't mesh at all with the style of our house. But I love the shape of it, so I want to transform it somehow so I can use it to hold my glittery Christmas twigs, spring branches in spring, etc.
I have a few ideas, but I want some input. WWYD with it?
Re: since pinterest is an a-hole, come in, crafty ones!
I could just about make out with you right now. Mercury glass was a top contender but I was getting NOWHERE finding instructions for doing that.
I think it's time to call local stores in search of that paint.

Ugh! I have got to branch out from knitting and sewing. I have never even heard of this craft, but I love the look of mercury class!
Then again, I'm truly hopeless at home decorating. Anyone here want to take a stab at my Grandma's Attic/Hoarder's Delight decorating style?
I just made the rubber band glass vases this morning and love them!
Since yours is blue, what if you paint it white, coat in glue and then roll it in epsom salt? It makes it all shimmery and pretty!
