Here we go again (re:step daughter)

She wants to come up for the holidays, she needs a flight, she thinks it's a done deal, she needs an escort (per her mother), she is 16, UM status limits flights, ahhhhhhhhh

Shoot me now! I hate this crap and it is I who is always stuck researching flights! Flights from STL to ROC are NOT cheap either!

    Not sure, but at 16 i dont think she qualifies for UM status.  Meaning the airlines will not provide an escort for her.

    3 airlines will provide it until 17 with same fees as younger ones....her mother just doesn't get it. She is paying the fee ($200  round trip) but it really makes finding a flight difficult, especially a decent priced flight.
