I have the Christmas itch

BAD this year!  I'm ready to pull Christmas out of the basement, set up my snow village houses, the music, get my shopping done and get to it! 

Although, I *try* to let the turkey come first, then decorate.

Anyone else like this or is it just me?

    I can't wait for Christmas. I love Christmas. And I have an almost Christmas baby, so there's lots to celebrate this year!

    I can't wait! We usually put up the tree in early December but this year I am struggling to wait for Thanksgiving. I know DD will be so much fun this year that it is hard to contain my excitement.

    Gobble Gobble!!

    I yelled at my tv this morning that I will not be buying Hershey products because I was so irritated to see the jingle bell Kiss commercial already this year.

    I love Thanksgiving!

    Can't wait for Christmas, already listening to christmas music the day after Halloween! 

     Also have started collecting presents for DD in our basement!

    girrrrrrrrrl you are preaching to the choir.  this morning I picked out recipes for gingerbread cookies and chocolate covered pretzels for Christmas gifts for DS' day care teachers.  I also sent out an email to my fam about our Secret Santa this morning.  I spent last night reviewing Christmas presents for the fam so I could plan Black Friday sales. 

    but...all of this is very likely due to the fact that I'm due in late Dec and paranoid that I won't have everything ready for Christmas.  I've even planned to bring Christmas treats to the nurses when I go into labor yum :)

    (one thing I HAVE avoided is Christmas music...we have a station that has it on already and I tried..but it felt awkward.  that will have to wait until after Thanksgiving :) )

    Yes! I am feelling the same way. I usually dont put up anything Christmas-y until at least the weekend after thanksgiving and dont start shopping until the day after thanksgiving. But this year I started christmas shopping the end of september and wanted to start putting up decorations right after halloween was over. I think that a lot of it has to do with finally having a LO in the house and I really cant wait to experience the holiday season with him.
