I could friggin scream. For the past week I have been seeing these passive aggressive FB posts from my brother of all people. I know they are directed at me. He is such an immature person. I'm so over it that I'm seriously thinking about deleting every family member that I have on FB. But I'm sure that will just create more dumb drama.
My extended family uses FB in hurtful ways too. I just don't have the time or patience to deal with this bs. I could sit here all night typing up how hurtful my cousins and aunt have been on FB. But I won't go there.
Knowing your family is being hurtful towards you on FB, would you delete or block them? I don't want to loose touch. But I am so over this bs.
Re: Do you have family on your FB?
If it was me- I would just "hide" the posts so I don't have to see them. I think unfriending or blocking a family member will only cause the drama to get worse.
Sorry your family are being so hurtful and disrespectful.
i second this. if you don't want to directly confront them, this is your best route. although i think with your brother, a conversation may be in order...
that sucks - i am sorry. i hope the hide function makes your days a little less stressful...
This. We recently had some FB family drama and the offender basically un-friended everyone and then sent out private messages to everyone explaining why she had un-friended us and that if we wanted her to be able to keep up with our kids then we should send her a new friend request. That pissed me off more than anything. Don't un-friend someone and then tell them they have to send YOU a new friend request! I find that not responding is the fastest way to end it. People only do this kind of thing for attention and if you don't give in, they give up and move on.
