Do you like Uggs?
I'm really considering buying a knock off pair, simply for the convenience of slipping them on and off and keeping my feet warm. I usually wear sneakers but they're a pain to get on b/c I can't just slip them on (one sneaker, the back always bends down when I put them on) so I have to untie them. Plus, they're not very warm and don't keep my feet dry. Anyway, I have no fashion sense whatsoever but thought Uggs would be good enough to wear in the winter. I have other winter boots but they aren't something I would want to wear just out and about if I don't have to.
Re: Fashion question-Uggs
I ordered some last winter and sent them back. They were WAY too hot for my feet. And I didn't order them small enough so they were too big and I actually didn't like the toe shape that much either.
I wanted to love them...but I didn't.
And yeah - you could probably spray them..but I don't think they will keep that much water/snow out. Although I didn't wear them outside.
I also don't wear skinny jeans so fitting them under my pants wouldn't always work.
They aren't waterproof, but rarely do I encounter a problem with my feet getting wet. I don't wear them because they're cut, I wear them because they keep me nice and warm. I don't even want to admit how many pairs I've worn through over the years, but I always keep an old pair in the garage to work in.
DH says he secretly wants a pair but thinks they look too chickish. (The ones for men pretty much look the same as the women's.)

I put Uggs in the same category as Crocs.....I will never own a pair because I think they are ugg-ly. I do have a new pair of sherpa slipper booties that probably look a little ugg-ish, but I would never wear them out of the house.
I did but R a pair of knock off crocs on clearance for next summer just for ease of use.
Do you like any style of Crocs? I agree that I don't like the original ones, but I have a few other styles that I love and they're so comfy!
Haha, I could have written this question! I've been considering buying a knock off pair too, just thinking it would be easier than dealing with sneakers or whatever else. I didn't know that they weren't always waterproof though, that kind of sucks.
A friend of mine just got these (or something pretty similar) and they looked cute and you could fold down the top part. But I'm thinking I may just go the easy knock off route from Target and scotch guard them.
I haven't seen any I like, and the bumpy inside would drive me bananas! I really haven't looked at them recently though, maybe they have changed.
I think they look awful but I am kind of at a point where I would like te comfort and warmth of them. I say this but I sent C to daycare in a pair this morning.
I think crocs and uggs are both super ugly. But I wear sneakers mostly and am not in to fashion at all.
But I LOVE my croc slippers. They are awesome - Abby drips water all over when she drinks so I needed something that wouldn't get wet and they are lined and so warm.
Same here! Good idea about the other colors, I will have to keep my eyes out too

Exactly! And also all the ugly comments...if you are talking about the "original" ones I agree but you should check out all the different styles they have out in Uggs and Bearpaws and the other brands. They have awesome styles and I can't imagine someone thinking ALL of them are just ugly. I feel like the Eskimo ugg boots got a bad rap and now everyone thinks that is what they look like. Mine don't and are super cute
I can be stylish and warm.
