Belly Buttons!

This is going to sound like a ridiculous question, but what is it like when your belly button pops? I think mine is on the verge and every time I laugh or cough I find myself covering it with my hand like I can hold it in or something. Does it happen all at once like POP? Or do you just notice one day that it's popped out? Does it hurt? 

The whole thing is so weird, lol!

    Mines half innie, half outie at this point.  It never popped even a small amount with ds, so I must be bigger this time.  Doesn't hurt at all though, I just hate that it can be seen through shirts.

    MIne is completly smoothed over. It feels like I don't even have one. And I guess how the baby is positioned, there's nothing around my belly button, so if I touch my belly button for more than a second I can leave an indention. It's so weird.

    Mine didn't really pop suddenly, like i always thought they did.  It started out with only the bottom part sticking out a little, and only in the evenings when my belly was full.  That was right when I started my third trimester.  Now it stays out all the time...but it doesn't stick out super far like you see in the pictures.  You can only see it when I wear one layer.  It's not very prominent (thank goodness).  I'm carrying low and I'm all belly so I had a feeling it would pop eventually.

    Mine is half in and half out as well. Looks a little silly (partly b/c I used to have a piercing) but doesn't hurt.

    Mine never did with DS, and it doesn't look like it is going to with DD. It just gets kinda flat looking but never sticks out. I guess it is a pretty deep innie!
