Daycare in the Smyrna/Vinings area

My wife and I are expecting our first baby in March.  We've begun looking for affordable child care in the Smyrna Vinings area.  Everything we've found has either been too expensive or very shady looking.  Does anyone have any suggestions for some affordable infant care in this area?  Thanks for the help!

    I'm also due in March and we live in the same area... I know the Goddard School has an 18-24 month wait list which obviously won't work for us. We're starting our hunt now and I'm starting to get really stressed about it.  Where have you already looked?  I'm starting to think a church daycare may be the way to go but I don't know how to go about finding them!

    I would love a church daycare as well, but most of the ones around us start at 1 or 2 years old.  I know FBC Marietta does one, but that's too far out of our way.  I've looked at several of the Kindercare's, but all of them seem a bit run down.

    Oxford academy is a popular one. We send our son to kids r kids in mableton. Nit too far from smyrna. It is accredited and has been a great school for us.

    I too was a little surprised at the pricing. But we checked out Kids R Kids Mableton and Primrose Mableton, both on Veteran's Memorial and were pleased.  Primrose however, has an 18+ month waitlist for the infant room.  Kids R Kids was able to open a new infant room, so I don't think the wait is as long.  Oxford was just out of the way for me, but heard it is pretty good as well.

    We are at Oxford in Smyrna and are very happy there.  If you ask me, it is expensive but I think it is still in line with most of metro Atlanta.  Last I heard, their waiting list for the infant room is 12-18 months, maybe longer.  You could always call and ask.  It is free to get on their waiting list.
