Multiple negative pregnancy tests?

This is our first month trying and I think I am pregnant. I went off the pill a year ago for only one month (just trying to use only condoms at that point) and my body went wacky (got a full blown period every two weeks so I went back on the pill)... so I was kind of expecting a similar experience while my body figures out her natural cycle again.... I am 3 days late, I have major breast tenderness, and I have been feeling crampy for the past week. I took two pregnancy tests (one the day I was late and one this morning) and both are negative. Has anyone ever been pregnant but got a negative test result? My friend got negative test results for the first three months of her pregnancy but I am curious to see how common this is...

I had the same thing happen when I was pregnant. Give it a week and test again. I've never heard of anyonetesting negative for three months. I wouldn't count on that. It's possible you ovulated late and so you conceived near the date AF was supposed to show and its too early to detect the HCG hormones. Give it a week.

Yes, I had a neg test several weeks after my missed period. I thought for sure I was pregnant, tested again and was.. Pretty crazy since it was like 3 weeks later. I guess that isn't uncommon.

I was wondering what ended up happening for you - are you pregnant, or did AF end up showing her ugly face?

I am currently 8 days late for my period. I had your same experience of having a period every 2 weeks for the first month and a half I was off BC, but have since gone back to being very regular (which I always was prior to BC as well.). I took my latest HPT yesterday (exactly 1 week past when AF was due) and it was negative :-(. I have found plenty of posts from people in this situation, but have found hardly any outcomes, so I would love to know yours!
