Thank you to all of you who post, respond to posts, write your birth stories, etc!

You all have been of great help and encouragement, I don't post much but I do read your posts and learn from them.
I am thankful because lately I have been a little discouraged about actually achieving a natural med free birth, I only personally know one person who has done a med free natural birth (and actually enjoyed it), everyone else I have spoken to, or my friends who recently gave birth ended up with a horrible birth experience, c-section or an epi because they could not take the pain or because of complications (nothing wrong with the choice of an epi, I just really would LOVE to go med free). I really believe I can do this, I don't know if I think too highly of myself or what but I really do think I can, until I start thinking maybe I am crazy and why have none of my friends been able to do it...BUT, when I come here and read all of your inspiring stories it makes me believe in myself by seeing how many of you had beautiful births!!!

    I was in the same boat when I was pregnant. I would come here for my natural birth fix! Try not to let the stories of anyone else's labor scare you or leave you doubting yourself. Just continue on working on all the prep you are doing for your LO's birth and focus your energy on that! You can do this momma!

    when we campaigned for this board a couple years ago, it was so that you and moms just like you could say exactly what you just said!
