I am happy with the placement. DS was pretty young so he had a very easy transition to having a sibling. It was nice to have a little bit of a break between 2 and 3.

I voted SS since I'm pretty much done after this one...DD and LO will be 3.5yrs apart. IF we do decide to have another one it will be way down the line - as in at least 5 years apart, probably more.

At first I wasn't even thinking about having another child, but now that I am past my horrible 1st trimester I definitely want another one. I plan on waiting until my LO is about a year and a half so they will be 2+ years apart.
This is our 2nd child and they will be 17 months apart (unless I go early). We're uncertain if we will have a 3rd, but I would like to think we will. Just not sure when.
This is our last. There is a 22 month age difference b/w 1 & 2, and will be a 3.5 year gap b/w 2 & 3. I love that my first two are close in age, but needed more spacing for the third for my own sanity.

I voted SS because, as I found out, sometimes you can't plan it even if you want to. I wanted our kids to be between 2-3 years apart. Instead they will be 3-1/2 years apart because of 2 miscarriages.
My plan for now is to breastfeed for a year than get on the pill for about 6 months and then evaluate if we are going to try for another one or not.
I don't know if we'll have another, but if we do we'll probably start trying fairly quickly. DH is a little older (he just turned 40), and it took us 2-years & 2 losses to get to this point.

Clomid/Femara cycle #1 - 6/10 = BFN
Clomid/Femara cycle #2 - 7/10 = BFP #1 - Missed miscarriage 9/2/10

5/1/11 - BFP #3 - Pre-eclampsia, IUGR & bed rest from 32w. DD born via induction 1/4/12.
SS - We are not going to try and schedule our pregnancies. No, we are not the Duggars, but we do have a strong faith in God and know that He will not give us more than we can handle whether that be only this 1 or several more.
this is our last we planned 3 in between. dd is 7 ds is 4. There were many complications when we were trying for this one. Treatments etc. finally we gave up and then one day out of nowhere I woke up preg.
When we first started trying I wanted to wait at least 4 years between kids but since it took so long, that's just not really an option anymore. I would really like if I could wait until this one is 3 to actually have the next baby but we will just see how it goes.
I put ss because I'm done after this, but between 1 and 2 there is just under 3 years and between 2 and 3 there will be 2.5 years. These are nice spacings for me.

I voted 2 years, but we also kind of follow this. We use condoms and charting to avoid for the first year after birth but after that it's pretty much up to God as to when we will be having another baby. And as we discovered, even charting + condoms can sometimes end up with an oops, however in our case that one ended up in a miscarriage. Ideally though we will be aiming for around 2 years in between each kid provided everything goes according to our desires.

SS-This is a hot topic in our house. DH wants #2 right away (he has wanted kids since day one and we have been married 8 years so you can see who won that one , but I want to wait until at least LO#1 is out of diapers. And who even saysI will want more than one? He is nuts. He wants them to be close, so having them close in age is his solution. Bah. We'll see if he changes his mind by February when he is sleep deprived
#1 and #2 will be 20 months apart. I'd like the next two to be a little closer... ideally 16-17 months so I can BF for at least a year (I voted 1 year) but like a PP said we don't schedule our pregnancies. We'll let God decide

I voted "SS". Ideally we would have wanted 2-3 years in between our children. Because of Secondary IF, my DD will be 5 1/2 when this baby is born. Even though this was not our original plan, I am so excited with the way it is working out. My DD can't wait to be a big sister and talks about helping out with the baby all the time. At least she is independent enough now that she will be a help.

I agree with both of these. We don't chart but we just use condoms the first several months to avoid getting pregnant too early. We tried for about a year and due to previous miscarriages, etc problems we thought it wasn't going to work to have a second Lo. Then we quit trying and figured if it was meant to be it would happen and it did. Ds #1 and Ds #2 will be about 22 months apart. We would like at least 2 more children in the future but the timing is up to God if he sees fit to give us more.

PInkaDoodle, I just wanted to say that I love your Dave Ramsey quote!
I clicked 2 years. DD and baby2 will be 2 yrs, 4 months apart. We started trying a year earlier, so if we had gotten pregnant right away, it would have been 1 yr, 4 months apart. But, I so enjoyed this summer with dd and she is at such a fun age, I am loving this "extra" time with her right now. Although it is crazy to think I could be past the hard beginning months right now and instead they haven't even begun, ahhh oh well.

This is our decision too. We decided to not use birth control again. It appears that BF'ing causes me to not ovulate for a long time so I don't expect to have another one soon though.
This baby and our first are only going to be 19 months apart. We have decided that if we choose to add a third, we will wait until this baby is at least two before we start TTC again that way she will be closer to three when we have another little baby.
Rachel, mama to Ava (6), Olivia (4), Nora (2), and baby#4 on the way.
2-3 years between kids sounds good to me. Still really close in age but not too close. We know that we definitely want at least one more, and are even considering a third, but that would probably be our limit. My mom has already informed me that she would really rather not travel to Virginia in the winter time again, but would prefer the spring so she can go see the cherry blossoms in DC at the same time. So I need to plan to have my next kid March/April of 2014. Haha, I know she's just teasing...mostly.
Re: CP: Time in between kids
This is my last baby.
1-2 = 21 months
2-3 = 30 months (2.5 years)
