Vacation question - I might be crazy

I'm already itching to plan a winter vacation.  I live around Philadelphia so the winters are cold.  I'm thinking someplace warm in March or April.  Anyway, I'll have an almost 2.5 year old and an almost 6 month old.  Am I crazy to do a vacation or if I'm not, any recommendations??  Maybe I'm just crazy...  :)

    We went to South Carolina when DD was 20 months and DS was 6 weeks and this year we went to California and DD was 2.5 and DS was just under a year.

    It can be stressful, but the biggest stresses were packing and the actual traveling (at least the 2nd time and that was by plane). I think driving is easier.

    DH and I went to Florida in late February - early March and it was great. Low 70s and we went to Disney and the crowds weren't really there. I'm not sure I would take kids this young there, but it could be an option. When we went to California we took them to Disneyland, which was much smaller, and DD had a great time but DS wasn't really able to do much.

    We went to disney world when DS2 was 8wks old and DS1 was 18 months. We also went to alaska when DS1 was 2 and DS2 was 9 months. I don't think you're crazy. We drove to disney world so that one wasn't to hard to pack everything we needed. The alaska trip was a little more difficult b/c we had a 5 hour plane ride and were gone 12 days. Packing was an interesting experience especially since we had to have formula, bottles etc. If you go I'd go by car if you can so you can take eveyrthing you need.

    I took all of the kids (without DH) to Delaware this summer for a week (LO was almost 6 weeks old).  We rented a house and some friends were there so I wasn't alone.  We had and awesome time, but I was exhausted by the end of the week!  We were walking distance from the beach, so I just packed up the stroller each morning and off we went.  I'm sure if DH was there it would have been more relaxing but his job "lost" his vacation request an by the time they let him know he couldn't go everything was already paid for.
