Can anyone recommend a good book for a first time dad? I'm feeling like he's not really getting it - probably because he's not going through the same stuff as I am and it's not a reality yet.
I would like to get him a book that explains what's going on, includes him, and isn't overwhelming. Something guy friendly too and preferably with a sense of humor so a guy would like it
Thanks ladies!

I second that suggestion--best I've found.

Another vote for The Expectant Father. DH looked at a couple different books in the store, decided on that one, and has liked it so far. He says it has a sense of humor (and was written mainly by a man), which is why he picked it.
I bought my DH "The Caveman's Pregnancy Companion: A Survival Guide" I thought it would be appropriate since he grew up in a land of men. It's great! He loves it, it's very funny and has a lot of helpful hints. I think, it also comes with some recipes, since he made pancakes the other day.

A woman with her young daughter in the bookstore recommended "Pregnancy Sucks for Men". I got it for him and he's reading it. I actually got the kindle version so I could see what he's reading as well. He's finding it helpful.
