New to The Bump

New to the Bump

Hello All,

I am new to the Bump. My husband and I have been trying for a year and a half to get pregnant. We have been through testing and Im starting to get down. I guess I've reached that time in my life in which everyone I know is getting pregnant and starting families. I am, of course, very happy for them but also have a hard time. I'm struggling to hold on to hope that we will be able to have our own family soon. We were told that if we aren't pregnant by November then we move to the next step. I dont even know what step that is...and I really hope we don't have to take it. I heard about this through a friend. It helped her get through tough times, so Im hoping for the same!

  • Hi Hopeful3741,

I am new to the Bump too...and can relate to your feelings as I am in a similar situation....I just started my "next step".  For me, it was 100 mg of Clomid for 5 days (today is day 4) and now we are scheduled for our first IUI next week....hoping to have this be the magical touch since we have tried everything else....and I have people pregnant all around me too...Feeling confident this time and best of luck to you.

  • Welcome and best of luck to you!!

  • Im so sorry I havent been on here in a while. I was just told this week that our "next step" Is to go to RMA. I wasn't hoping for that news but at least they are the experts. So we go Nov 17th. Hopefully they can help us figure out what to do. I hope that this works out for you!!!! I will keep you in my thoughts and send positivity your way. Doesnt it seem like its easy for everyone else??? Although of course its not always that way, but it seems like it. Good luck!!!
