I was able to make it in to the doctor today and they did an xray. He didn't rule out gallbladder or kidney stones but the probable prognosis is extreme gas. ![]()
I seriously thought I was going to die. I have to take Miralax for a couple of days. If the symptoms continue, we'll do a CT scan to rule out kidney/gallbladder.
I'm so freaking embarassed. DH was there too, and he's just waiting for the day that this becomes funny.
Re: well THAT was embarassing.
I kinda wanna give a little ::giggle snort::, but I doubt that would help with the feeling of embarrassment
At least it doesn't appear to be anything serious!!!

True story...
A coworker (who is known for being dumb and gullible) is at work saying her chest hurts. My DH (who worked there at the time and would jack with her mercilessly) and his work BFF were messing with her and telling her she needed to fart. They are laughing and telling her to rock back and forth to move the gas, meanwhile she is starting to panic. So finally (due to her history as a smoker and a recent case of pleurisy) she decided to have the medics come check her out and they did and because of the pain she went to the hospital. While there they ran test after test and kept scratching their heads. One of the officers was up there working on an assault and heard she was there (probably from DH and his BFF) so he walks over to her ER room with the doctor and a nurse in there and yelled "N! Ain't you farted yet?!"
As it turns out it...it really was gas and she was horribly embarassed...but that was just one in a long line of goofy N stories.
Oh God, don't let me be one of "those" stories! The doctor was SUPER nice about it and said he sees it all the time.

You are going to have one hell of a fart later.
Me too. Time to let them rip.
I went to the ER three weeks ago with horrible stomach pains (that I thought was gas) convinced that the doctors were going to tell me to go home and fart. But it wasn't gas, it was my gallbladder.
My point, stay on top of this and be 100% sure it isn't gallbladder related.
But, I hear ya, gas hurts like a motherf*cker sometimes.
