I just have to tell you, everytime I see one of your posts and you mention the stick pony, I laugh to myself.  Like as in 'stick pony, isn't that from like the days before electricity?!?!' kind of laugh.  Then the other day, my DD has a broom....and is riding it like a stick pony.  She's not getting one because she's getting a spring horse, but I'll stop laughing now.

    Exactly!!!  Don't feel bad -- I did the same thing when I heard my niece was getting a stick triceratops as her Santa gift one year.  I just thought, 'poor child!  Do they not realize the great gadgets and things out there for kids that age?'  Then came DD riding her broom like a pony and zero interest in any techo-gadgets.  Karma.  Eh, sometimes the good ol' imagination stuff is the best stuff out there.
