just your presence."
We are invited to a first birthday party and that's what the invitation says. My friend and baby live out of state, so I know they can't travel back home with a bunch of gifts. I'm thinking of doing a gift card. The one time I didn't bring a gift to a party where the invitation stated no gifts, other people did, and I felt stupid/cheap.
Do you adhere to the hosts' wishes, or do you bring a gift anyway?

We are doing a no presents party, but we are requesting donations be made to a charity that is very near and dear to us in DD's name.
If you know something like that is meaningful to your friends, maybe look into that?
I like this, or a B&N GC.
