Feedback on names...

So far I really like Hanna Paige for a girl and Ethan Layne for a boy.

  • I think both are nice! Honestly, I'd probably do Lane instead of Layne, but it really doesn't bother me too much. I like the flow of both names though! Good choices!

  • Both are solid names, but like a pp said, I'd prob change "Layne" to "Lane". Layne just seems more feminine to me.

  • I love them.  Hannah is on my short list for girls too!

I agree!  'Layne' is after Layne Staley from Alice in Chains.  This is my compromise with DH.  He wants it as a first name but I like it better as a middle name.

  • I like them both. Love Hannah, on our list as well
  • I like them both but I would spell it Lane rather than Layne. The random Y thrown in there makes it look a little feminine and is not really necessary. Otherwise, good solid names!

  • Love both!

Hannah is my sister's name, and I've always thought it was so pretty. If it wasn't her name, it'd probably be on my radar for a girl. But we've already got our girls name picked out so it's ok Wink

  • I like them! I would spell it Hannah, though, and Lane (no y). That's just my personal spelling preference!

  • I like both! But I'd definitely consider taking the Y out of Layne to make it look more masculine. My friends son is named Lane and I think the Y would just make it look too feminine.

Also, I'd add and H to the end of Hannah but I do love the first and middle names you picked for both. :)

  • Really like, very classy names. I wasn't a fan of Layne spelling, but hearing the reasoning, I'm on board!

  • I like both! I agree with the others that the "y" in Layne makes it more feminine. But, if it's a family name I would use the y.

  • Love both of the although I really dislike Layne or Lane for a boy's MN. I would do Ethan Shane instead.
  • I like them both, but LOVE Ethan Layne!
