Depends on the time of day. We are having a big party saturday night, with booze. On sunday afternoon is her birthday party, and there will be no booze.... probably.

I didn't have alcohol because I couldn't afford to buy all my boozy neighbors drinks. I told them if they wanted wine or beer to bring their own. Everyone in our neighborhood brings their own cup filled with booze to eachother's house.

DD's party was at a kiddie play town place so no alcohol allowed. However even if it were at our house I probably wouldn't serve alcohol -- in my mind it's a kid party.

We had wine and beer. I thought about a bloody mary bar, but cheaped out.
We had 1:00 lunch. And yes-I would probably expect alcohol as I know my fam/friends would.
