Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

Did you keep you pack n play?

Ive sold much of my baby items, we dont plan to have more, and if we change our mind it wont be for a few years. All i have left if my swing, walker, which wont seem to sale, and now im considering my pack n play. Its sitting in the basement collecting dust. When we travel she wont sleep in it so we make a nice spot on the floor for her which is great, I was just seeing if anyone is keeping theres, or have already gotten rid of it.

  • My babe will still sleep in the pack n play so yes, we still have it.

  • I kept everything. We aren't in a position to buy new baby gear every few years.
  • We are keeping ours for travel and a just in case thing. We also plan on having more babies.

This.  We aren't done, so I am saving almost everything.

  • Yup... DS will sleep in it and play in it for hours when we're at my parents or if he's at the office with DH.

  • We just gave our swing away to a coworker expecting her first grandchild. C only used it for a week and then had no interest in being in it, but it was a shower gift we couldn't even open for several months so we could no longer return it.

We still have our pack and play, we keep it for if we need to travel.

  • We plan on keeping the PNP around for a while longer since the height limit is 35 inches and the weight limit is 35lbs.

    this is us too..

  • He will still sleep in it if we're away from home, so I have it. But we want another LO too, so I haven't gotten rid of anything.

  • We'll keep it until he outgrows it.  I think we've only used it once or twice, but it's compact enough to store for now.

  • I do because we still use it for traveling and may have another. But if I wasn't using it and knew I wasn't having another I'd sell/donate it.

  • We thankfully kept ours. We live in the northeast and lost power for 5 days with that freak October snowstorm. Thankfully my folks live close and have a generator. Unfortunately, since my parents live so close, they don't have anywhere for him to sleep. DS never slept in his pack and play. But let me tell you, he did for those 5 days, and I couldn't have been happier that we kept that thing around.

I say until your LO is too big that they won't fit, keep it.

  • We naively bought a smaller, traveled-sized one before Eli came along. Then, he was HUGE and after about 3 months, he didn't fit in it anymore so we sold it. We won't have any more children for several years so if we decide that a PNP is a necessity, we will wait until after baby to determine which one works best for us.
