Coming over from 6-9...question about sleep sacks

I have not used a sleep sack for LO because she moves around a lot at night (sitting, standing, rolling, etc.).  I figured that the sleep sack would restrict her movement and make her mad.  But, I am hearing from a lot of other mom (on the 6-9 board) that they use sleep sacks.  Just wondering if you use sleep sacks for 9-12 month olds.  Thanks.

    If only the sleepsack could keep DS from standing in his crib! :) Yup, the sleepsack doesn't restrict movement as far as I can see!

    My baby is still in the 6-9 age range but we don't use sleep sacks anymore.  It would get sort of twisted or tight when he rolled and he hated that.  We just use a onesie and socks under fleece footie pj's.

    This! My DD loves her sleep sack and does not prevent her from cruising around her crib.

    DD is ~11 months old and has been wearing Sleep Sacks since 5 months old.  They don't hinder her movement whatsoever (I even saw her trying to walk in it yesterday, lol).  We use a size L (she's about 19 lb and 29") because she doesn't like when they're too short.  I'm not sure if we'll get bigger sizes or the footed kind when she outgrows them...I'm trying to introduce a blanket to keep her warm instead, but she moves too much, lol.

    We LOVE ours still! Not only does it keep LO super warm, it's also a great cue for him to know it's time to take a nap/go to bed. We find that our LO sleeps a lot better when he's in his sleep sack, than when he's not. We think it's become a comfort thing for him.

    Whatever keeps your baby warm is great, though!

    We used them when our son was much younger and then had been using a blanket for the last several months.  But, just a few weeks ago we started using a size L Sleepsack again- our DS is now 9 1/2 months old.  He loves it, and sleeps so much better!  I think he was getting tangled up in the blankets and occasionally getting cold at night when they came off, now he's warm all night long.  We put him in a lightweight footed PJ and then use the fleece halo sleepsack, it's awesome.  I was thinking about getting the footed ones too so he could stand up more easily, but I think they only come in larger sizes- 2T, not sure if that would be too big for him right now.
