Finally agree on a nickname

Hubby is a Jr. so our little guy will be the third. The name will be Gary Bruce (can you see why we had difficulty thinking of a nickname?), but we didn't want to have "big Gary" and "little Gary" or "baby Gary". Since we found out we were pregnant we've been racking our brains for a good nickname to use at home and just couldn't agree on anything. Finally my dad came up with something we both love... Trey (as in "three" or "the third", and yes, I realize that's not exactly an accurate spelling, but we like it). Thank goodness... I was starting to think we'd never agree on something!

And I couldn't stop laughing.
But I think Trey is a great nickname!
I have a friend Tray (I like your spelling better!) who is a 3rd and that is the same reason everyone calls him Tray! It is definitely a great nickname for a third!

OP, FWIW, I actually know someone with the name 'Tres' (pronounced Trey). I never realized that there is probably a reason his name is spelled that way... Interesting.
