Adoption

Intro...

Hi everyone!

My husband and I are brand new to the world of adoption. We have been TTC since 9/10 with no luck. I have an endo diagnosis and my FSH is high. My husband also has mild MFI. SO, we have a whole bunch of things working against us in the baby-making department. After meeting with an RE last month, I did one medicated cycle where I had no response to Clomid or FSH.

We've decided not to do any more medicated cycles-- I just hate the thought of all of that medicine in me-- not to mention the expense.

We have always been interested in adoption, and we've decided to move forward with it instead of continuing with medicated TTC.

So, I am going to spend the winter figuring out exactly what type of adoption we are interested in pursuing, and I imagine I will be on this board quite a bit. I have checked out the FAQs and downloaded Adoption for Dummies to my Kindle last night. Everything seems super overwhelming, but hopefully I will figure it out soon.

Thanks for reading my super long intro post, and I look forward to getting to know you guys!

  • "Hi" and Welcome!  This board has great ladies with lots of info!! Adoption for Dummies was rally helpful to me in the beginning and I also made my husband read it since he was very clueless about the whole process.
