I want to go VBAC, Last Pregnancy was an emergency C-sec and NOT an experience I want to remember. We cannot afford a doula, but a friend who has had 3 natural births herself wants to stand in and help like a doula.
I have no clue what to really expect. Some books to recomend, advice to give, ideas for ways to cope? Please help? I am due first week of January.
Re: Attempting VBAC naturally, how?
I recommend Ina May's Guide to Childbirth, and The Birth Partner.
I had a med-free VBAC and I was amazed by how differently things went the second time around. Your first delivery definitely doesn't predict how your second will be. Good luck!
