8 month old toys

I know this question gets asked a lot but I scrolled down and can't find any recent ones. My LO is so over all his current toys! He gets bored quickly. It seems like all he wants to do is crawl and stand but I know if I had some good toys for him he might be a little more entertained. What toys are your 8 months old currently loving??

    DD is crawling and climbing too, but still loves lids, spoons and straps! Could care less about her musical toys!

    DS has a musical walker, he doesn't really walk with it but he will stand sometimes. He seems to love it. He also really loves these huge plush blocks I got for him. In all honesty, if he could play with just our cats he'd be content. LOL

    DD is almost 9 mo - but so far she loves lids and spoons.  Straps are another favorite and for nap time she loves her bunny.  I don't think she really LOVES any of her actual toys...

     

    Forgot that her favorite thing to do is stick her fingers in my mouth...   Huh?

    I think 8 months is such an exploratory age where they are trying to learn to be mobile. Neither of my boys have been all that interested in their baby toys at that age. Tupperware bowls, big spoons, remotes, cell phones, etc. are more interesting. That being said.....my DS#2 at 8 months really likes his older brother's toys....unfortunately he is most interested in the small ones that could be a choking hazard.

    But he does like the trucks....I think it's the wheels that turn. Target has some great baby/toddler sized tonka trucks that are a safe size and easy for them to roll. Other than that, he'd rather try to crawl and chase his brother or us around the house.

    The Bright Starts Around We Go is the only thing that gives me ten straight minutes of freedom these days. :) He also loves our remote control. I bought him one of those toy remote controls but nope, he wants to play with the real thing (prolly cause he sees that's what Daddy likes!).
