My daughter ,16 months, is showing interest in using the toilet. I was thinking about starting to potty train and see if that interest grew. Then it dawned on me that through out the next two months we'll be traveling quite a bit. Should I just hold off all together until after the craziness of the holidays dies down? Would promoting the idea, very inconsistently, be of any help?
Re: Start potty training or wait till holiday craziness is over?
This.
Yes. Potty training will NOT be a success unless you have consistency. Traveling =/= consistency.
You can keep talking about the potty and put her on it from time to time, but I wouldn't push it. She is REALLY young.
