What do you keep cars in? Matchbox and Cars

I wanted to get R a carrier for his cars, but so undecided on which one! I just bought the Cars 2 case that holds 40 but I don't know if I like it, too new without reviews. It is bigger than I hoped for.

The problem is his has equal amounts of Matchbox and Cars ( about 20 so far), and the Cars are a bit bigger and don't all fit in a regular case. He also has 4 (plus 4 more for Christmas) Monster Trucks, they will only fit in a Monster Truck case.

Currently all the cars are in a big under bed style box, under the train table. It is a mix of guys and cars and small toys like that. He often digs around searching for his cars as he plays with them the most. That is why I thought a separate case would be ideal.

    We have a big mixture of types of cars, so we just use a bunch of small rubbermaid bins.  One is for things with wheels.  One is for GeoTrax trains and people.  And the rest of his stuff is divided into them.

    in a rubbermaid type of bin are his cars and then his construction trucks are in another one.  He has big construction vehicles

    Right now, just a Matchbox-type storage box with a Cars 2 logo that we got at TRU this summer. I like it because it has different sized openings, so we can put just about anything in there. It makes it really easy to find what he's looking for.

    We have a little Cars themed storage box, but honestly, the cars never stay in there.  I feel like it's a waste to buy something.  I also have a wicker basket that I put the larger cars in at the end of the night.  We have cars ALL over the house during the day...lol. My son Dylan does have this little clear case that he always puts his cars in.  I call it his man bag.  I saw this little bag in a magazine that is monogrammed.  I may get that for him for Christmas.
