I haven't gotten this supposed extra hour since these guys were born. It's been difficult to convince them to just keep sleeping. So last night, I kept them up just past 9 and they were sooooo exhausted. I was hoping for them to sleep until at least 6 and then it wouldn't be too bad. Well, it worked! DD didn't budge until 6:30 and I think DS would've stayed sleeping until 8 if she had let him.
How was everyone else's night?
Re: How did the "extra hour" of sleep go for everyone?
It is so weird, every year my kids start self-adjusting the prior two weeks, so by today they slept to their normal time
Daylight savings seems to mess with their naps more than overnight (because they are sleeping later), but today they should be back on track
DS 3.12.08
DD 7.11.09
DD 8.01.13
OMG, is it daylight savings???
For us, daylights saving is one of the few down sides to parenting.
Rough...1. I stayed up way too late, which I always regret. But one baby was up at 4 and again at 6 the other didn't even notice and slept until her usual (7).
Same as usual in this house-
Poop woke Chase up early. 7am maybe (6 pre DST- which is he usual) blech.
DD woke up at 735
We kept them up an extra hour last night. DD1 slept in almost to her "usual" time. Woke up at the new 7:45 instead of her usual 8.
DD2 however, got up at 5:30. That was painful to see!
They usually adjust pretty quickly though.

DD2 didn't sleep well last night and is already napping. It looks like she'll be wide awake when DD1 takes her nap. Boo
Actually, daylight savings time is ending, not starting.
