i need help with my son hes 21 months with SENSORY ISSUES PLEASE

there saying is behavior and my family and hes speach therapist we all dont think so  but  he goes to ucp of central florida a place that works with these condition hes in day care n preschool day and gets therapi's there but what hes doing allot is biting and breaking skin and leaving good marks and pinching and scratching  leaving marks

  • That was really tough to understand. Maybe you are typing on a phone? Are you saying he is oral sensory seeking and is biting you because of it? That's what my son does. When he wants to bite us I give him a hard rubber chewie stix I got from an autism toy store and he can bite that. Basically I give him an acceptable outlet for his need to bite. Good luck.

  • I agree with joint compression.  Its a total lifesaver during meltdowns.  We even have a travel size weighted blanket just in case.

  • Another thing I have heard people get for chewies is soft tubing used in aquariums. You can buy a whole roll and custom make bracelets or necklaces.
