With Emilia it was always a pain in the ass to get her to go to sleep. We had to rock her until she was asleep before trying to put her in her crib at night. It was miserable, especially if she woke up before we laid her down.
Avery is the exact opposite. I just put her in her crib, she lays down and snuggles in with her blanket and goes off to sleep! It's amazing! I can only hope that #3 goes down as good as Avery...now if only she would STTN. She's almost there, only waking up for about a minute once or twice a night...but man what I wouldn't give for a full night of sleep.
Re: How did I get so darn lucky?!
Well I figure I haven't had a full nights sleep since May of 2008, why start now! lol I started sleeping like crap when I got pregnant with Emilia, she didn't start STTN until she was 1 and that's when I got pregnant with Avery. So yeah...sleep? I don't need no stinking sleep.
I can't wait though, in like 3 years, I will be able to sleep so good!!!!! 2014 can't come soon enough! lol
I know, right? I can't even think about thinking about a third until I get more regular sleep.
So far, Isaac needs to be rocked to sleep, but once he's asleep he is super easy to put in the crib (vs. Gabe who would wake up and scream if you didn't move super super slowly and carefully when tranferring him to the crib).
See, I got screwed in the carseat department, lol. Gabe will fall asleep, but wake up the moment the car stops and Isaac, well, Isaac just hates his carseat, period.
I'm just hoping the screaming will stop when we move Isaac to a convertible seat in a month of two.
Lately Tate needs to fall asleep on one of us, but then once he's out we can lay him down no problem. He sometimes wakes up around 4/5 and I bring him to bed with me. I really hope he doesn't wake up Lane that early b/c he'll just want to stay up (they are sharing a room for the first time tonight).
Mmmm...cake!
