Middle name that goes with the first name Priya
Hi Everyone,
So I think hubby and I have come to an agreement with our baby girl's first name. We've decided on "Priya" as her first name. Now my hubby really wanted to go with the name "Aasha" as the first name but I was not totally sold on it. So we did some more digging separately and each made a list of names we liked When we compared the 2 lists Priya was on both of ours at the top so we settled on that. Now my hubby is leaning towards using Aasha as her middle name. I don't know if that really goes together. Both first and last names having the same ending pronunciation just sounds weird to me. What does everyone think of "Priya Aasha" am I just being a crazy pregnant woman or does it actually go together? I am up for an additional ideas that anyone has for middle names. The only thing is we are going with the East Indian culture as my hubby is from India and our son's name is also East Indian.

Yup! Too much "ah" sound.
I must be getting really tired...it took me several minutes to figure out that you didn't name your son East Indian....
I'm with you. I don't think Priya Aasha has the best flow. How about:

If Aasha doesn't work, what about Usha?
Love both of those! I agree that Priya Aasha doesn't sound just right together. Gimmie's suggestions are super pretty!

Kanti is too close to a derogatory name for the female anatomy...think C U Next Tuesday. As mean as kids are, no way I'd use that.
I like all of these. I agree with PPs. Aasha adds way too much "A" sound.
