Liam is 18 months and I don't think the thought has even crossed his mind. I'm sure he could do it if he really wanted to but for now he likes his crib. He's supposed to be napping right now but he's upstairs playing with his puppy and yakking away.
Our friends' son figured out how to get out of his crib at 15 months. They put him in a toddler bed.
I wonder also! DS is very very tall, the crib is on the lowest setting and has been since he was 10 months. It doesn't seem like he's realized he can get himself out. Maybe he's just lazy lol.
About a month ago, so 18 months. She's very tall and active.

Hasn't done it yet and I honestly can't imagine her doing it for quite some time. She barely climbs on the couch, and she loves her crib. We will have to put her in a toddler bed soon though, since her baby bro will take her crib.
Apparently I stayed in my crib until I was 3 and never attempted to climb out.
DS never has and he just turned 3. We turned his bed to a toddler bed last week because he was starting to try it, but he literally just started that. DD would, but she isn't tall enough. She is so much trouble.
DS climbed out of his crib at daycare at 15 months, but only did it once. He hasn't tried in his own crib, he loves it too much.
I'm thinking he will be in a crib until he's 3, and then we can move him to a big boy bed, but if he starts climbing out before hand then we will move him sooner.
DD did twice at 18 months. We were going to move her to a toddler bed, but took the bumpers out instead. Now she doesn't have those few inches to boost herself and hasn't done it since.
DS is nearly 20 months and hasn't climbed out yet. We're planning on leaving him in the crib for the forseeable future, until he does attempt to escape.
Re: when did your LO's start climbing out of the crib?
DS didn't do it until a couple months before he turned 3.
DD is 21 months and has never tried. I won't move her to a bed until she does.

DD hasn't tried yet... And she's almost 19 months old.
However, we did lower her crib to the lowest setting last night, just in case.

my read shelf:
DD was almost 3 when we moved her out of the crib and she never climbed out.
DS1 was 2.5 and ds2 is 22 months and hasn't climbed out yet. My boys were are on the short side. Ds2 isn't tall enough yet
it's so weird to see this thread... i was watching this last night and wondering how long we had!
