Still at Dell

I brought Sarah back in on Wed due to her still screaming and now having blood in her stool. They did a scope and flex sig. Everything was normal. They yesterday they did an upper GI with a small bowel follow through that was normal except that she has reflux which we knew and have been treating. After that they hooked her up to and EEG and have now ruled out seizures. Thank God. I didn't want to find out that was the issue. (ie, I have had seizures for almost over 10years)

So now we are scratching our heads as to what it could be. We are going to put me on a strict diet and put her on a special formula for the weekend and see if that makes a difference.

I will keep everyone posted. Thanks for the thoughts and prayers. This has been super tough.

I simply can't imagine what this has been like for you all. It makes me, an internet stranger, distressed and frustrated for Sarah. Lots of t&p Sarah's way!

I can't believe you guys are still dealing with this. I'm glad they've been able to rule out so much, but frustrated for you that there is still part of the puzzle missing. I hope you all find some relief soon! Poor baby and poor family!

if you want to talk, we went through the exact same thing -

upper gi, gi doc specialist, sonograms, xrays, elecare formula, blood in stool, reflux, constant screaming, blood in vomit, er visits and no sleep. as i mentioned we were one day away from doing the scope.

Ditto. Maybe the special diet/formula combo will help. Continued good T&Ps for you both.
