3D versus regular movies

Do you take your kids to 3D, or regular versions of movies?

DD is 4.5 and DH always takes her to the 3D version.  I will admit, I saw Tangled and Lion King with her in 3D and they were great!

I am taking her to see Puss n Boots this weekend though.. regular tickets would cost me $15, and the 3D would be $33.  I pretty much feel like taking the $18 difference and taking her to Build a Bear after :)

    DD is not at an age that she cares about 3D.  I say save the money and do something fun afterward!

    My 3 1/2 year old hates 3D movies so we tend to do regular ones.  My 5 year old loves them but we try to all go together.

    DH and i are not fan of 3D movies- so we don't take our kids to them... we just do the regular versions.
    I used to be Goldie_locks_5 but the new nest is so screwed up that I was forced to start over.

    I feel like 3D is a little much for a small child (and it gives me a headache) so we stick to the regular.
