Surgery update & PIPs

Christian's surgery went well on Wednesday.  He did run a fever so they kept him a little longer, but he was such a trooper.  He hardly cried. I on the other hand, was a mess. And remember how I was afraid he wouldn't STTN and wake up asking (more like demanding) for his bottle. Well, it went a lot better than expected.  He STTN, slept the entire drive to hospital and didn't ask for a bottle.  He even let the nurse carry him into the operating room.  I was such a proud momma!   And would you believe he's already standing?!?!  Dr said it was fine as long as he could tolerate it.  I think I hurt more than he does just watching him.

Thank you to all those who sent T&P our way!

  • So glad things went a million times easier than you expected, that always happens to us. I'm up all night worrying and he doesn't even seem to notice what's going on.

He's such a cutie!!!  Hopefully the rest of his recovery goes smoothly!

To my boys:  I will love you for you Not for what you have done or what you will become I will love you for you I will give you the love The love that you never knew
  • Yay! Glad things went well. Your lo's hoodie cracks me up. Stick out tongue

Thanks.  He wouldn't leave on any halloween costumes.  This is as close as we got. And I'm sure he would of tried to take it off too had he seen himself in the mirror. Wink
