Does your toddler enjoy the lego duplos? If so, is there a particular set they enjoy most? I have noticed commercials for these over the last few weeks and my daughter enjoys building things so I thought she might enjoy these. TIA
My 2.5 year old is getting them for Christmas. We got the Lego Duplo Basic set from Aamazon.com for $19.99. It has 80 pieces. Less pieces was more expensive at both Wal-Mart and Toys R Us.
She's also getting the baby zoo set since she is obsessed with giraffes.

My DS got a set last year for Christmas, just before turning 2. Once in a while he would build a straight tower with me, but he would do little else with them until about 2 months ago when something clicked and he loves them now! He's gotten very creative in what he will make, and in what he will ask me to make for him!
We have the numbers set and an 80 piece basic blocks set. I also got him the large plates, which are great to build on. We pre-holiday purged his old toys yesterday and he readily chose to donate his "other" blocks (megablocks?) since Duplos are the only ones he's used in months. I might get him a small themed set for his stocking, but in general I'd recommend a set that has a larger number of basic blocks.
We have lots of Duplos. I think he has received the big zoo set, the construction set, and a park set with numbered blocks. They are all mixed up now but he loves to get them out and build with them.
DD likes the bus set. We also have the numbers and supermarket. She likes playing with the people and the bus the most. We also found a cheap mat with a small city scene (she doesn't care about). I chose the numbers because it had alot of pieces, a piece with wheels, a person and a dog.

We went straight to the regular Legos and have never purchased any "sets" - we bought two "starter" kits of bricks plus a larger set. I didn't want to have to buy two different kinds of Legos because I thought the Duplos would be used for a year or two, tops. She got her first Legos at age 3, I think.

My DS loves them. He has multiple sets, but we started with a big box of plain and a set of numbers. He has been using them very well since about 18 months or so. We have tried the regular legos before and they were too small, he would just get frustrated with them. Maybe now it would be easier but he is happy with his Duplos so we won't rock the boat quite yet:)
