Tummy time

DD bobs/headbangs her head alot when shes on her tummy sometimes her head even hits the ground she does it so much. I am always concerned about every little odd thing. Normal?

    My son did this at first for a while. I just made sure to put him on a really padded area to make sure he didn't hurt himself.

    DD2 is a few weeks younger that your son, but it's totally normal. I try to make sure DD is on a thick blanket or those rubber mats for tummy time to minimize hurting her head. She's also very much into rolling over these days, so I have to constantly watch her and sit right next to her during any floor time activity so she doesn't roll off the mat and onto the hard tile.

    Maybe try tummy time with a boppy? I did that with DD, I would lay her on the boppy so that her arms, shoulder and head were elevated... seemed to help, now her arms are strong enough I dont have to do this anymore
