This is also the last baby free weekend for FI and me. He unfortunately has to work all weekend but hopefully we can make it to the movies or something.
Well, I did get a pedicure yesterday, and today, I am gonna touch up my roots! We thought we would have her this past Weds, but now it will probably be next Weds. I am still bedresting, but I can be active for about an hour or so during the day. I won't do much this weekend, but hoping someone will visit us just to break up the quietness around here. Of course DS makes alot of noise, but I need some adult conversation!

I'm so interested to hear what others are doing for their last weekend before Baby!
I'm 38w1d, but we are treating this weekend and next like our last ones. Tonight we are having yummy appetizers and dishes while we put up the Christmas tree. Early, I know! But, I never feel like I get enough time with the tree and I'd like for it to be an excuse for 'date night at home' and get a chore out of the way before Baby comes.
Tomorrow, we are doing last minute shopping for Baby - Breakfast somewhere then 1 hour drive to Ikea for Baby's dresser and some exchanges to Target for a breast pump. Then, damage control cleaning in each room.
Sunday, we are going to be super lazy and watch movies, snuggle, eat, sleep, do nothing. Can't WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And if we get next weekend to ourselves as well, that will be a super great bonus to do nothing again. These will be our only 2 weeks out of the last 40 that we got to sit on our butts and do nothing. Yay!!!!!!!!

This is my last weekend with just one child. I am having a repeat c-section next friday. My son was invited to 3 birthday parties tomorrow. Normally there is no way I would let my 2 1/2 year old go to 3 parties and skip naps etc but I feel like I owe it to him to let him have as much fun as possible this weekend. He really has no idea how much his life is going to change next week. It almost breaks my heart for him. Anyway, I will be carting the kid all over town tomorrow starting at 10 am at Build A Bear!

Ditto on so many things! C/s next friday, trying to pack all the fun we possbily can before DD's life gets turned upside down. My heart breaks for her too, but she's so darn excited...I hope that feeling lasts after baby arrives!
Tonight we have family date night (dinner, and then going to see Puss in Boots), tomorrow I have to work (why I agreed to this, I will never ever know) Sunday is church/small group, and then next week is high gear baby prep! Too bad I get tired after cleaning one room or running a few errands!

I think you deserve a mother of the year award!!! Try and get some time for yourself in there too.
I'm a FTM and with our roommates bringing home their LO this weekend, I don't think we are going to be home. HA! I have a hunch DH and I are going to camp out at his parents' house so our roommates can get settled in. Plus, with her due date being so close to mine, but being 2 weeks early, I need a vacation before our LO gets here. Since it's cooled off so much here finally, I am hoping fr a nice picnic in the park or a drive up the mountain to see the sights.
For those of you with LOs already, my props to you! I'm sure I would drop them off at Grandma's for the weekend and go have fun! Enjoy what time you can to yourself and your SO. I know I am treasuring every moment I can
This is our last weekend baby free too, having c/s on Tuesday. I am trying to get the entire house cleaned top to bottom today so that we have the entire weekend to just relax. Looking forward to going out to dinner ether tonight or tomorrow. Going to get one last mani/pedi too
This is our last weekend as well and it feels like we have so much more to do than ever before! If we don't go in on our own, we'll be there bright and early Monday morning to be induced. We're trying to do as much as we can with DD before it becomes a little more complicated around here.

May or may not be my last weekend... plan is to spend tomorrow and a Windows Mobile Development conference then babysit for some friends. Sunday will be spent on the normal laundry, grocery routine
ETA: Still debating whether to say screw it to the conference and spend the day with the kiddo and making food instead

I don't know for sure if this will be our last baby free weekend but it's possible. I don't really have anything planned just the same old sitting around on here, watching tv, and waiting/hoping to go into labor. FI is trying to hang out with friends as much as possible before LO is here so I will most likely be alone most of it. To me, there is nothing enjoyable about being "baby-free" everyday without LO just makes me more sad and worried.

This is quite possibly our last non baby weekend. It's also my birthday weekend. DH and I had dinner out last night - I tried the eggplant parm to get things moving...all it did was give me heartburn. Today my parents come for breakfast and now DH and I are sitting our butts on the couch. We have dinner reservations at our favorite place tonight to truly celebrate my birthday.
Tomorrow will be groceries, laundry, and last minute prep. I can't believe we are on the "any time now" status. Ha ha.
